The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the promotion of 31 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) to the rank of Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP). This decision was made during the 1st Plenary Meeting of the new PSC Board, which began on August 30, 2024, and will continue until September 4, 2024. The meeting focuses on Police Discipline, Investigation, and Recruitment.
According to a statement by Ikechukwu Ani, PSC Head of Press and Public Relations, the promoted ACPs include:
