The Federal High Court in Abuja has nullified the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primaries in Edo State, which had produced Asue Ighodalo as its candidate on February 22.
Justice Inyang Ekwo ruled that the PDP’s nomination processes were not compliant with the party’s constitution, citing the unlawful exclusion of 378 delegates who were supposed to vote in the primary election.
The suit was filed by Kelvin Mohammed, representing the aggrieved delegates.
