After the accident, he was taken to the mortuary where attendants refused to accept him, stating that he was still alive. Thereafter, he was taken back to banks if the River Niger where sacrifices were allegedly offered to the water goddess before being transferred to a hospital in Asaba where efforts are being made to revive him.
On April 6, 2021, he expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life and that of his family members after a fire incident destroyed his house.
He said his house went up in flames while the family was sleeping but God intervened, adding that he was safe and no one sustained any injury.

He is known for acting criminal, villain, armed robber, militant and hitman roles in movies alongside Emma Ehumadu, Sylvester Madu, Zubby Michael, Jim Iyke, Alaso Wariboko, Gentle Jack, Hanks Anuku, Jerry Amilo.
Other awards he has won include Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and Best Actor of the Year at the Africa Movie Academy Awards among others.
