The Conveners of Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions is set to train One Hundred young tilers drawn from the 21 local government areas of Kogi state with partnership support from Royal Ceramics, producers of the Royal tiles,
The partnership is part of the 2022 annual conversation for manufacturers, professionals and end users of building materials christened Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibition holding in Lokoja from 6th to 8th December, 2022.
The training is to be conducted during a special day dedicated to recognize the West Africa Ceramics Limited (WACL) for quality products manufacturing.
The special day is tagged as The Royal Ceramics Day and scheduled to hold on 7th December, 2022 at the Conference Arena of the Idrinana Hotels and Suites, Lokoja.
The training content is designed to expose selected tilers on modern skills in Tile Laying and the Handing of Cutting Machine to reduce wastages. The comparative advantage of the use of Royal Tiles will also be analyzed.
The WACL is a leading manufacturer of ceramic tiles under the brand name ‘’Royal’’. It has been a major building material manufacturer since 1995 and is located in Ogoro village in Ajaokuta LGA of Kpgi state.
The Director of Media and Publicity of the Exhibition, Mr. David Anuwe in a press statement encouraged the general public to attend the built environment and construction expo.
The statement also announced the appointment of the National President of the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Racheal Mojirola Balogun (Ms) as the Face of THE 2022 BEBM Exhibition.
Balogun by the appointment is to oversee the strategic marketing and advocacy task team of the BEBM Exhibition. She is to also develop and supervise the marketing and corporate image advocacy and consultation of the BEBM Exhibitions toward the success of the event.
Balogun, attended the Federal University Lokoja, Kogi state where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in geography, she is certified in human resource management (HRM), project management professionals (PMP),customer service and relationship management(CSRM), general health and safety management(GHSE level 1&2), and health and safety management (HSE level 3).
