The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has assured the people of Imo Of the Owelle Rochas Okorocha led Rescue Mission administration preparedness to repair roads in deplorable condition.
The Deputy Governor of Imo State made the statement, yesterday, when he received in audience leadership of the residents of Egbeada Federal Housing Estate led by its Chairman, Hon. Ikechukwu Mbachu in Government House, Owerri
Mr. Mbachu explaining reason for their visit said they came to appreciate the government for its vision for the State and the sagacious approach it has been steering the ship of the State.
He also commended the Deputy Governor of the State for his humility and supporting role, which has brought the stability in the State, attributing the harmonious relationship to the monumental feat so far achieved by the administration.
Mr. Mbachu however decried the deplorable condition of the roads in the Federal Housing Estate, thereby appealing for the intervention of the State Government.
Responding, Prince Madumere used the opportunity to first thank them for the massive votes in the last election in support of All Progressives Congress Party.
He assured them of taking their requests to the Governor. He however revealed that their roads were already being considered among other priority roads, even as he called for their continued support of Owelle Rochas Okorocha led Rescue Mission administration.
Among some of the residents in the delegation were Hon. Marcel Odunze, House of Assembly member representing Orlu State Constituency, Hon. Martin Ohiri, Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Chris Nwaike, Adviser to the Deputy Governor on Political among others.
