The elevation of Dr. Muiz Banire, the National Legal Adviser of APC to the rank of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee(LPPC) has been described as highly merited and desirable for the legal profession.
Giving the commendation to LPPC, Senator Solomon Adeola, representing Lagos West Senatorial District, said the conferment of the SAN status on Dr. Banire is recognition of hard work and dedication in the service of public good in the legal profession in Nigeria.
“Dr. Banire who is a constituent from Mushin in my senatorial district is a people lawyer fighting the cause of the common man and common good. His dedicated service transverses teaching of law at tertiary institution, a rich private legal practice and meritorious service in the public in government in various capacities” Adeola stated.
Senator Adeola said he had no doubt that the elevation of Banire would further spur him to work harder in enriching jurisprudence in Nigeria adding that the legal profession at the level of SAN need legal minds in the mold of Banire to clean out some sharp practices in the legal profession and the judiciary.
