PDP Condoles with Niger State on death of former Governor Abdulkadir Kure

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has condoled with the Governor and People Of Niger State on the death of its Former Governor, Abdulkadir Kure.
A statement signed by Prince Dayo Adeyeye, National Publicity Secretary, said the National Chairman of the party Senator Ahmed Makarfi, CON, on behalf of all organs of the Party and its family nationwide condole the Governor of Niger State, H. E. Abubakar Sani Bello, his family and the entire people of the State on the passing of their former Governor, Abdulkadir Kure at 61 years.
“As the Governor of Niger State under the Platform of our Party between 1999 – 2007, Engr. Abdulkadir Kure introduced meaningful policies and executed people oriented projects and programmes that changed the landscape of the State and impacted positively on the lives of people of the State.
“His death is a great loss to the immediate family especially his Wife, Senator Zainab Abdulkadir Kure and children, the entire people of Niger State, our Party, and Nigeria in general. The PDP will miss in great measure, his robust and intelligent contributions on party and national issues specifically during this trying peroid, he stood with the Party and the National Caretaker Committee availing his wealth of experience in moving our Party forward.
“ We pray the Almighty Allah grants his Soul rest and give the Family, the Governor and the people of Niger State the fortitude to bear this great loss. “
