Governor Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has congratulated Mr. Adekoya Adelabu on his appointment as the new Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) by President Goodluck Jonathan.
The governor, in a congratulatory message issued in Ibadan on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Media, Dr. Festus Adedayo, described the appointment of Mr. Adelabu as well-deserved.
He said that Mr. Adelabu, going by his antecedent, was equipped with mental, psychological and intellectual abilities to withstanding the rigours and the challenges of the job.
While expressing appreciation to President Jonathan on the appointment, Governor Ajimobi urged the new appointee to bring his experience to bear in the running of the apex bank and contribute his quota to the economic development of the country.
